Partnership between Tilburg University and Asset
Dean of Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM)
Over the past few years TiSEM has collaborated closely with the Faculty Association Asset. Due to this collaboration we were able to organize many events such as symposia, international congresses and study trips. Together with Asset we strive to help the students of TiSEM throughout their entire academic career, prepare them for the labor market and provide them with more knowledge and skills about their future career path. In today’s fast changing labor market, it becomes even more important to strengthen our collaboration with Asset and help the students to develop themselves in the best version of themselves. Together with Asset we are able to provide the students with the character, skills and knowledge according to the TEP profile of Tilburg University in order to understand the fast changing society. The collaboration with Asset provided us with a tremendous amount of opportunities to support the TiSEM students and we are planning to continue this collaboration for many more years.

Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Since the founding Asset has actively collaborated with the university to offer services and activities for TiSEM students to optimally support them in their student life at Tilburg University and their preparation to the labor market. To optimize the collaboration the
Student Career Development Plan has been developed. This plan describes the alignment and integration of the activities organized by Asset with the TiSEM programs. Some examples of the collaboration are the Master Experience Days, the collaboration on the career platform of Asset and of the university and the collaboration on career events and trainings organized by Asset. These joint efforts have increased the quality of the activities and career support offered to our students and we strive to keep improving it in the future.
Career Service Officer
My name is Linda Torn and I'm currently Student Assessor for the Management Team of TiSEM. As a Student Assessor, I am basically the bridge between the management team and the students. I advise on all kind of student related matters, and I work on projects which help implementing the strategic plan and policy of TiSEM.
The collaboration with Asset is an important part of my position. As a student assessor it is important to know what students are concerned about, and what bothers them. Via Asset I keep in touch with students, and all student related matters. Furthermore, Asset helps the management team with improving and implementing important parts of the strategic plan of TiSEM, such as personal development and career orientation.
