Our firm was formed in 1983 by Ad Verdonk, Rob Otten, Maarten Dik and Herman Wiegerinck, since when we have grown to become one of Europe's largest and most prominent agencies specialising in marketing and strategy, with our own team of 100 people. The firm is managed by nine parters. Our team brings together a mix of expertises, ranging from strategists and experts in marketing intelligence, innovation, multichannel and sales through to experienced sector specialists and interim marketing professionals.

One of our expertise area's is Customer & Marketing Intelligence. By using the most advanced analysis techniques, we can plot a clear course for a company to achieve organic growth. Fact-based and accountable. We apply this knowledge in various fields, such as strategy development, campaign management and customer value and retention management.

Who we work for
VODW works for larger, leading companies with extensive customer bases - both business-to-consumer and business-to-business. Our focus is strongly on service: our clients include both ambitious service organisations and businesses for which service is set to form an increasingly important part of their product range. A large proportion of our clients also have international scope.

Description of presentation
Besides the general information about VODW, we will focus on our Marketing Intelligence (MI) department. That is, we will talk about the sectors VODW is working in, the typical clients we are working for and the culture of the organization, etc. With respect to Marketing Intelligence, we will provide several examples of projects. We will illustrate this with case studies that show the different fields of expertise within our MI department. Also, we will describe what it is like to start working at VODW as a Marketing Intelligence consultant and we will describe a working week as consultant at VODW.
