As banker he worked as Chief Representative China for ABN AMRO Bank (1990-1995), Vice President Structured Trade Finance ABN AMRO (1995-1998) and International Fund Manager Triodos Bank (1999-2001). Subsequently, as consultant he has served companies such as Nike, Deloitte, AXA, Google, Unicredit Bank, Rolls Royce, ING Group and Unilever. He has also worked with INGOs, governments, and multilateral agencies such as The World Bank, UNDP and the Asian Development bank. Tideman recently co-founded the SEAL Institute at Nyenrode Business University, a research initiative aimed at creating Sustainable Enterprises through Action Learning (SEAL). Previously he was a Senior Fellow of the Garrison Institute in New York and a Member of the Netherlands Council for Sustainable Development. Sander Tideman received education in international business law (LLM, Utrecht), economics (London School of Economics), Asian Affairs (SOAS London) and psychology. He lives with his wife Sandra and three children in the Netherlands. He loves outdoor trekking, skiing, skating, yoga and soccer. |

After a career in international law and banking, of which many years based in Asia, Tideman is specialized in leadership, organizational change and sustainable innovation. He applies this in corporate settings, the not-for-profit sector and academia.
