Kees Koedijk holds a Master's degree and a PhD in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. His main research interest is Portfolio Management and Socially Responsible Investment. Koedijk started his career as Assistant Professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has been Professor at Maastricht University as well. Later he became Vice Dean of the Rotterdam School of Management and Chairman of the Finance Department at Erasmus University. Kees Koedijk is professor Financial Management at Tilburg University, and dean of the Tilburg School of Economics and Management. Kees Koedijk is an expert in financial economics and financial institutions. His research focuses on Macro and International Finance, Portfolio Management and Socially Responsible Investment, Risk Tolerance and Emotion. Sustainability is also one of his key interests. From 2005 to 2007, Kees Koedijk has been Chairman of the 'Council of Economic Advisors, the House of Representatives of the Dutch Parliament'. He is founder of both the 'European Summer Institute' and the 'European Centre for Corporate Engagement'. Koedijk was awarded with the Mistra Grant in 2006 for his research in durable investments. |
