Asset offers diverse formal activities to its members, of which a large part is organised by committees. Below you can find an overview of all formal committees with a short description, like the conference, several symposia and an investment committee.

Short description: to broaden the students' horizon with respect to interesting current topics in the field of economics and business administration, Asset organizes each year an International Conference that takes place in September. During this day, prominent international scientist, corporate executives and well known politicians will discuss the conference theme (which is study exceeding). During the plenary programme, profound parallel sessions and interesting business cases the visitor is invited to share in the ultimate conference experience. An internationally known speaker closes off the conference.

Project date: The International Conference takes place in September and attracts around 400 visitors.
Committee: the International Conference committee consists out of 7 students and is active from September till September. The average time pressure is 10 hours per week.
Tilburgse Stoel committee
Short description: This committee will organise monthly a live interview with a prominent person from business, politics or science at Tilburg University. This interview will take place during lunch time at the entrance hall of building K. The name of the committee is still under investigation. As a member of this committee you will think about interesting topics, invite speakers and be the floormanager during the event. If you are selected as an interviewer you will, together with one other student, prepare and interview the prominent speaker. To make sure you are well prepared as interviewer, you will receive training from Tilburg University.

Committee: the committee consists out of 6-8 students and is active throughout the year. The average time pressure will be 4 hours per week
Interfaculty Symposium
Short description: The Interfaculty Symposium is a ch year Asset organises an Interfaculty Symposium in cooperation with a students' association. This year we cooperate with Extra Muros, the association of Liberal Arts. The aim is to broaden the economic student's horizon with an interdisciplinary approach to actual, interesting topics. During the symposium, a theme at the interface between the fields of interest of the two representing associations is dealt with. Click here for more detailed information about the committee.

Project date: The Interfaculty Symposium takes place in November and attracts around 150 visitors.
Committee: the Interfaculty Symposium committee consists out of 2 students of Asset and 2 students of Extra Muros. The committee is active from March till November and the average time pressure is 8 hours per week.
iFinance

Project date: iFinance takes place in February and has around 150 visitors.
Committee: the committee consists out of 6 students and is active from May till February. The average time pressure is 6 hours per week.
Accounting Insight

Project date: Accounting Insight takes place in November and has around 90 visitors.
Committee: the committee consists out of 6 students and is active from January till November. The average time pressure is 6 hours per week.

Committee: the investments committee is active thoughout the year and consists out of 10 students. The average time pressure is 2 to 4 hours per week.
Symposium

Project date: the symposium takes place in March and attracts around 100 visitors.
Committee: the committee consists out of 5 students and is active from May till March. The average time pressure is 8 hours per week.

Project date: the symposium takes place in February and attracts around 300 visitors.
Committee: the committee consists out of 7 students and is active from May till February. The average time pressure is 15-20 hours per week.
Combi-symposium
