Investment Management acts as principal investor for the bank and has extended its investment activities to third-party investors via funds. These funds have been developed in the fields of private equity, infrastructure and real estate. Investment Management also manages and services the bank's direct investments and investments in third-party funds.

As an analyst you are a significant part of our team and as such will quickly gain insight in a broad range of transactions. At the same time you will familiarize yourself with the specifics of the real estate industry. Your contribution comprises amongst others: - Being part of and supporting the deal team that originates and executes new investments - Financial modeling - Preparing presentations for prospects and clients - Drafting investment proposals and documentation - Executing amendment/waivers during the term of an investment and supervising the payment procedures - Internal Reporting, amongst which the quarterly investment reports - Preparing meetings, amongst which shareholder - and board meetings Education People in Investment Management have diverse academic backgrounds, ranging from economics and business administration, to law and technology. Candidates applying for this Analyst position are expected to have achieved excellent academic results and good quantitative skills. Proven affinity with real estate through education, work experience and/or an internship is considered a benefit . Outstanding verbal and written communication (Dutch and English) skills are required as is a good commercial sense and creativity. The candidate needs to be a team player. Analyst Program As an analyst at NIBC you have the opportunity to participate in NIBC's Analyst Program. This program takes one year and is developed for those who have recently graduated from university and who are interested in a career in banking. Working and learning on the job is alternated with targeted training and development activities, the most important of which is a financial training program developed in combination with the Amsterdam Institute of Finance, a recognized leader in this field. Both theoretical and practical skills and experiences are addressed by external professionals from INSEAD Business School and NIBC managers.
