Chairman“Hi, my name is Michelle Kuijpers, I am 22 years young and I live in Tilburg. Currently, I am a fourth year International Business student. In the first semester of the academic year 2009-2010 I went on exchange to Barcelona. Although I was very homesick I had a great time. Fortunately, I did more than only studying and going abroad, I have been an active member of Asset | FIRST International from 2008 until now. In my first active year I was a member the activities committee. Later I organized the Symposium "Crisis Management" in March 2011. As of September 2011, I will be the Vice-Chairman of Asset. I am very excited to take over Puck's responsibilities; it is going to be a great year!”
Secretary“Yo, after 22 years people still now me as Wilco Johannes Sikkema. I’m studying Bedrijfseconomie and hope to finish it before I have to pay €3000 to mister Zijlstra; Minister of Education, Culture and Science. It is very exciting to be part of a great team that is about to run the second largest faculty association of the Netherlands! After becoming an active member of Asset in 2008 a board year is the ultimate challenge for me. I’m not doing it because it looks great on my resume but just because Asset activities are a lot of fun. You can find me at the UvT gym, in the pub or places where you can eat. Now and then I also spin some records or make my own music.”
Treasurer“Hello, my name is Stefan Nieuwenburg and I will be the new treasurer of Faculty Association Asset. Last year I was an active member and organized The Thailand Experience with great success. I applied for this function, because it is a challenging one and it will be a great experience to be a board member of Asset. After graduating for my Bachelor Bedrijfseconomie I started my Master Finance. See you at one of our many activities!” Project Manager“Hola, my name is Angela Goverde, 21 years old and a third year International Business student. In 2009-2010 I was part of the Orientation Day committee, in the fall semester I have been on exchange to San Sebastian in Spain and now I decided to stop my studies for a year to be a part of the Asset board. I play hockey at SHOT twice a week and I love to hang out with friends and go to parties. I am really looking forward to start this academic year as Project Manager, and together with a lot of new and enthusiastic people I am sure we are gonna make this an unforgettable year!” Public Relations“My name is Danielle Leukel and I am the new external affairs officer. I am 21 years old and I just finished my bachelor International Business Administration. Last year I spent half a year in Seattle at the University of Washington. Now it is time for a new challenge: A board year at Asset! My main tasks will be acquisition, promotion, and the Asset Magazine. I love dancing, spending time with friends, and travelling.” Public Relations“Hi everybody! My name is Thomas van Pelt and I am the new External Affairs. I am 22 years old and I have been an active member at Asset for four years now. I am really looking forward to start my board year. I love partying and I have got two addictions: Beer and coffee. I hope to see you all next year.” General Board Member “My name is Niek Janssen. I'm 23 years old and just finished my pre-master Marketing Management. Besides marketing I'm also interested in finance. I am the new chairman of the Faculty Association, responsible for the policy and overall coordination of Asset. I'm looking forward to a busy year full of challenges and opportunities.”
