As of the summer of 2008, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEB) has it own Faculty Association: Asset. Asset consists of seven associations, whereas the association without an addition behind Asset is the study exceeding entity. The other seven Asset associations, with an addition representing the target group, organise activities for a specific group of students with a particular field of study and interest. The goal of Asset is to provide services and activities for its members to enhance their studies at Tilburg University. These services and activities represent the pillars on which Asset is based: 1. Providing study support 2. Being an intermediary between students and companies 3. Closing the gap between theory and practice 4. Organising social activities Besides the formal activities that Asset organises, there are also several informal, social activities. The Asset beercantus., cycling dinners and the active members weekend are examples of these. Next to these four pillars, Asset will take care for the so-called study-exceeding activities (which apply to all students of the FEB). Furthermore, Asset is the spokesperson to the university on behalf of all associations involved. To read more specific information about Asset's activities, take a look at the 'Activities' heading. At Asset, you can get study guidelines, join a company visit to get a look into real business, join one of our study trips or symposia and participate in one of the many informal activities which are organized by all associations of Asset. All of the activities mentioned above are organised by approximatery 100 motivated students for you, in the upcoming years of your study! Next to a general membership, Asset offers you the possibility to enhance your organisational, planning and team working skills by engaging in an active membership. |
